The road race “15th International Posidonios Half Marathon and Parallel Games” is in progress
Temporary traffic regulations are in effect today in the areas of Paleo Faliro and Alimos due to the running of the “15th International Posidonios Half Marathon and Parallel Games”.
Traffic regulations in detail:
– Temporary and gradual stoppage of vehicle traffic, during the hours 05.00′ to 13.00′, as follows:
• Posidonos Avenue, in the section between Syngrou Avenue (Psalidi location) and Amphithea Avenue, traffic flow towards Glyfada.
• Old Poseidonos Avenue, in its section from the height of its junction with Ioannou Fix Street to the height of its junction with Nea Poseidonos Avenue, traffic flow towards Glyfada.
According to the above traffic regulations, the movement of vehicles will be carried out as follows:
• On the traffic flow from Athens to Glyfada: via Amphithea Street.
• On the traffic flow from Piraeus to Glyfada: L. Sygrou (towards Athens) – Zisimopoulou – Ag. Anargyron – L. Amphitheas.
– Temporary and gradual stoppage of vehicular traffic and prohibition of their stopping and parking, during the hours of 04.00′ to 13.00′, on P. Ioannou Augeris Street (in front of the Averof-Municipal Swimming Pool P. Faliros), in the section of between Afroditis and Moraitini streets (in front of TAE KWON DO) in both traffic streams.
The Police appeals to the drivers of the vehicles, in order to serve them better and to prevent traffic accidents, to be especially careful when passing through the above points and to follow the existing road markings and the instructions of the traffic wardens.
