For all enterprises in the retail sector, with the exception of vehicles, food and fuel, as reported by ELSTAT, the annual turnover in 2021 amounted to 19.91 billion euros, an increase of 14.1% compared to in the year 2020, where it was set at 17.45 billion euros.

For all businesses in the retail sector, excluding vehicles, food and fuel, turnover in the fourth quarter of 2021 amounted to 5.88 billion euros, an increase of 29.3% compared to the fourth quarter of 2020 , where it was set at 4.55 billion euros and an increase of 6.7% compared to the third quarter of 2021, where it was set at 5.51 billion euros.

For retail companies, excluding vehicles, food and fuel, with the obligation to keep bibliographic books, for which data are available on a monthly basis, the turnover in December 2021 amounted to 1.06 billion euros, marking an increase of 66.3% compared to December 2020 which was set at 0.64 billion euros and an increase of 19.3% compared to November 2021 which was set at 0.89 billion euros “.
