White flowers, dolls and lighted candles have been left by friends, relatives and ordinary citizens since yesterday, outside the house, where the two brothers and their mother died tragically in Nea Magnesia, Thessaloniki.
“Maria, Giannis and Lydia, Good Paradise”, they write and describe with emotion the sadness that has covered the area. They pass in front of the burning house, bow their heads and pursed their lips. It is difficult, as they say, to realize that the 12-year-old boy, his 8-year-old sister and their mother, lost their lives, so suddenly and so tragically.
It is recalled that the 32-year-old woman, her son and daughter, were found charred yesterday at dawn inside their house when a fire broke out. The two brothers were found in their room, by firefighters who were trying to extinguish the fire, while their mother was behind the front door.
Relatives and friends, today at 16:00, will say their last goodbyes to the mother and her two children. The procession will take place in the church of Agios Panteleimon in Nea Magnesia.
