Resealing of gas station in Gerakas, and interruption of fuel supply from all trading companies and refineries
Customs inspectors of the Independent Public Revenue Authority discovered a breach of seals, during a re-inspection at a gas station in Gerakas, Attica, which had been sealed for two years, due to adulterated fuel.
Specifically, on Saturday 8/6/2024, the auditors imposed a two-year sealing penalty and disclosure of the company’s data, because the diesel fuel it had on the market was 95% adulterated with marine oil.
In today’s re-inspection of the inspectors for compliance with the sealing measures, it was found that the seals from three (3) pumps and two (2) tanks had been breached, and the stickers describing the reason for the sealing had been removed.
Immediately, the customs inspectors of AADE, with the assistance of a team from OPKE of EL.AS., carried out a physical count again of the quantities of fuel that were in the tanks and placed new seals and stickers.
At the same time, due diligence measures were activated for the same-day interruption of fuel supply from all trading companies and refineries to the specific gas station, while the submission of a complaint report to the competent prosecutor was initiated.
