The 2nd wine festival takes place June 14-16 in Navarino Agora
The Messinia Terroirs Wine Festival, first held last autumn, is now becoming an institution with the aim of highlighting the region’s local winemakers and breathing new life into a place with deep roots in viticulture.
The three-day festival, in addition to wine presentations and tasting events, includes master classes for wine professionals and lovers, talks and panel discussions, producer briefings, lectures, dance performances, live music, wine painting programs, pottery workshops, food & wine sections pairing, as well as artistic events for young and old.
The shops, restaurants and delicatessens of Navarino Agora participate in the festival with special menus and Messinian dishes, which ideally accompany the wines of local producers, completing the culinary and cultural experience.
The festival is a joint organization of the Captain Vassilis & Carmen Konstantakopoulos Foundation and Costa Navarino. It is held under the auspices of the Municipality of Pylos-Nestoros, the Chamber of Messinia, ENOAP and EDOAO.
