Just a few days before the door of the prison opened for the two main defendants, as the maximum of 18 months of their temporary detention is completed in the following days, the court, in order to ensure the presence of father and son in the trial, decided to release them from the prison the restrictive conditions of the ban on leaving the country, the ban on removal from the prefecture of Attica and the obligation to appear on the first five days of each month at the Police Department of their residence.

In addition to the two former leaders of the group, eight other people, mainly company executives, are being held accountable for the so-called “Folli Follie scandal”.

The defendants are facing a series of crimes related to the activities of a criminal organization, the acts of which, according to the case file, caused damage estimated at an estimated more than 400 million euros.
