At Hospital of Volos one is hospitalized with injuries to the head and ribs 19 year old Italian, who was beaten by 16-year-old “bullies” in Alonissos. The parents of the five minors who beat the tourist because they were “touched” by his flirting with a girl, will be taken to the prosecutor for neglecting the supervision of minors.

The 19-year-old Italian’s vacation in Alonissos turned into a nightmare. He was severely beaten by five minors when they saw him at Steni Vala with his two friends enjoying their drink with two girls from the island. The girls were being “supervised” by a 16-year-old. When the 16-year-old saw that his peer, who rejected him romantically, was having fun with the 19-year-old Italian, he signaled his “gang”.

At approximately 12 o’clock on Thursday night, when the group left Steni Vala, bound for a beach, the gang ambushed the Italians. Three of the five minors began to beat them fiercely and the girls ran to escape. The two of the “gang” were holding chilies. The only one who didn’t run for his life was the 19-year-old who was literally smashed against the wood, while in the meantime his two friends informed their parents, who in turn informed the police. The child was taken covered in blood to the regional clinic, for the doctors to decide whether he should be transferred to Volos, because he had serious head injuries and his nose was broken by the blows.

The juvenile bullies are characterized by the local residents themselves as a “gang” that constantly creates problems on the island, while they hid to avoid self-harm. If the 19-year-old Italian is able to give a statement, today the police will visit him at the Volos Hospital.
