3 out of a total of 8 Bulgarians, who were arrested after the shooting incident at a beach bar in Hanioti, Halkidiki, were brought before the Polygyros investigator.

The bloody incident happened late on Friday night, when Bulgarian patrons attacked the 55-year-old shop owner, injuring him with punches and kicks.

Then three other people entered the area, who – according to the police – started shooting. As a result of the shooting, two customers were injured, one in the sternum and the other in the arm, as a result of which they were hospitalized, together with the owner of the beach bar, at the Polygyros hospital.

The first five arrested in the bloody episode were brought to the prosecutor’s office yesterday. Of those, one was ordered to continue the investigation and was released, while for the remaining four the case passed into the hands of the investigator.

Already yesterday one of the four was taken to the investigating officer, apologized and released, while today the other three followed the same procedure and the relevant decisions are awaited.

As for the three injured, who remain in the hospital for treatment, they were arrested for the crime of fighting, but a short time later they were released.
