Soon in digital wallet all data like area, perimeter, land use and more – No need to cross and confirm data
The properties acquire a digital identity and their owners will be able to have their image on their mobile phones through the wallet application provided on Gov.gr. Area, perimeter, land use and other data will soon be in the digital wallet through the app available on mobiles and tablets.
Property owners, notaries, engineers, lawyers – and generally those involved – interested parties will be able to locate or be informed by the owners easily and quickly about the property they are interested in, anywhere in the country.
Everyone will have the same picture of the property without the need to cross check and confirm information.
The digital identity will be given to properties where there is an agreement of data in all services.
There will be no need to cross check and confirm details – Consent with one click
Today, the same property appears differently in the tax office, differently in urban planning and differently in the municipality. The aim of the new service is to overcome the existing problems and to have a unified image for the property.
Citizens through the wallet will give approval to the agencies, public and private, so that they can obtain the necessary information in order to complete a procedure related to their property.
In practice, citizens will give their consent through their digital wallet for transfers, parental benefits and other transactions related to their real estate. But primarily, they will be able to see how their property has been recorded. That is, what is the surface and square meters of their property, what is the perimeter, land use, and in general, through the digital map, they will be informed about the actions and interventions they can do in each area.
In fact, through the expansion of maps.gov.gr, citizens will for the first time see their property demarcated anywhere in Greece, regardless of the land registration phase.
The service is free for all, with no tiered access, through a friendlier navigation environment, and is now also accessible on mobile. The new platform has been enriched with the land plot data of the Land Registry. This means that the user can see on the map both the boundaries of each plot, as well as the Code Number of the National Land Registry (KAEK) that it bears.
Information and statistics will also be available on the progress of the Land Registry and the real estate market in general.
