Moderate optimism for 22-year-old Maria, the only one who survived the fatal traffic accident that occurred on August 17 on the BOAK in Chania.
According to information from Creta24, her health is improving.
On the day of the tragic accident, the 22-year-old was admitted to the Chania General Hospital with severe brain injuries and was immediately intubated in the Intensive Care Unit.
Yesterday, Tuesday, August 27, the doctors proceeded to extubate the 22-year-old Maria, who underwent a CT scan again on Wednesday, where it was found that her state of health is clearly better.
The ICU doctors, who have been closely monitoring the young lady all these days, appear modestly optimistic about the outcome of her health.
It is recalled that the fatal traffic accident occurred when the fatal white car carrying the four young people collided with a van, in BOAK, at the height of the Galata bridge.
The fierce conflict cost the lives of the three young colleagues of 22-year-old Maria, 18-year-old Nikos, 15-year-old Alexandros and 20-year-old Theodoris.
