The 78-year-old visited Istanbul with a pensioners’ association for an excursion and his traces disappeared.
Investigations are underway, in Istanbul, to locate a 78-year-old Greek man from Serbia, who has reportedly disappeared since Thursday afternoon, near the central Taksim Square, while he was on an excursion with a pensioners’ association from Kozani.
The Greek consulate in Istanbul has already been informed, while investigations are being carried out by the police authorities of the city, while, in Servia, the family of the 78-year-old is anxious about his fate.
As Dina Papadimitriou’s daughter reports in a post on Facebook:
“My dad disappeared in Istanbul near Taksim Square on Thursday evening. His name is Dimitris (Mitsos) Papadimitriou, he is 78 years old and has a height of 1.66. On the day she disappeared she was wearing a red blouse. Please anyone who knows anything to contact us on the following telephone numbers 6945413113, 6980375424, 6932368071 or the police!
