Many scattered active outbreaks – 93 firefighters with 30 vehicles and three helicopters are on the scene
A fire broke out shortly after 4 pm in Chania in the area of Platanias while shortly before 5 pm 112 was called in order for citizens to remain on alert.
After 6 pm, the image presented by the fire is improved, while the Fire Brigade forces are working to limit the scattered fires.

According to the first information, the fire broke out in an area near a hotel, as reported by zarpanews.gr. According to testimonies of residents, the smoke is very thick and the atmosphere is suffocating.
To extinguish it, 93 firefighters with 30 vehicles, three groups of hikers and 3 helicopters were mobilized.
