The platform is put into operation from today myPyrasfaleiaLivethrough which any interested natural person, representative of a legal entity or engineer can book an appointment online in order to be served in person, by telephone service or by video conference/video conference from the 54 competent Fire Service Preventive and Suppressive Offices ( Fire Safety Offices) across the territory.

According to a Joint Ministerial Decision of the Ministers of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou and of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Vassilis Kikilia, through the platform the interested citizens will receive information about the applicable fire safety legislation of buildings, economic entities and facilities.

The service was implemented by the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance under the care of the General Secretary, Demosthenes Anagnostopoulos, in collaboration with the Preventive Fire Protection Department of the Fire Brigade Headquarters.

The platform is available either through gov.gr in the “Citizen and Daily Life” category or directly at the online address https://myPyrasfaleia.live.gov.gr and the connection is made using TaxisNet codes.

The procedure for scheduling an appointment is very simple:

  • The interested party enters the platform, selects the service for which he wishes to make an appointment, the municipality of the Fire Safety Office and the desired service method (in person, by telephone or by video conference).
  • He then selects the day and time he wishes to be served from a list of available appointments and enters his contact details and some information related to his request.
  • As soon as the process is completed, he receives a confirmation email of the appointment to the email address he has declared, where the information about the appointment is mentioned and the possibility of rescheduling or canceling it is provided.

It is noted that digital appointments can also be scheduled by third parties, however the person concerned must be present at the appointment.

It is a new modern communication and remote service tool that contributes to the more effective, more efficient and faster service of citizens and engineers by the Preventive and Suppressive Fire Safety Offices of the Fire Department for complex procedures that they are obliged to implement according to the current legislation. In addition, it will contribute to the reduction of congestion in services and to the avoidance of overcrowding, as well as to the better management of State resources.

The services provided, in this phase, are two:

  1. The first concerns the provision of information to citizens on the applicable fire safety legislation of buildings, economic entities, facilities, as well as on administrative procedures, such as supporting documents for the approval of (energetic) fire protection studies and the granting of an (energetic) fire protection certificate, the requirement to be supplied with an (energetic) certificate ) of fire protection and its duration of validity, as well as any other more specific procedure required for the granting/issuance of the above documents.
  2. The second is addressed exclusively to an authorized administrator of the application in the “e-Permits” information system. Authorized administrator means one of the project engineers or a technical company, to whom the owner-operator of the economic operator-facility assigns the submission of the required supporting documents and documents for the issuance of the administrative act of fire protection in the “e-Permits” information system and wish to receive clarifications on any observations or deficiencies they have received from the relevant fire safety office.

In the future, it is planned to expand the capabilities of the platform by making new services available to citizens, professionals and businesses.

The myPyrasfaleiaLive service expands the umbrella of electronic appointment services provided and increases the number of public bodies that utilize the successful myDeskLive platform, which is provided by the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance of the Ministry of Digital Governance.

It is noted that since the launch of the myDeskLive platform, approximately 1,650,000 digital appointments have been scheduled for many public bodies, which have utilized the platform by integrating dozens of their services into it.
