Two people who were spotted carrying seven irregular migrants packed into a car, who had been pushed through the Bulgarian border on the same day, were arrested on Sunday morning, after persecution in the center of Athens,

In particular, according to ELAS, on Sunday morning police officers of the DIAS Team, during their patrol, called the driver of a car that was driving on Acharnon Street in the center of Athens for a check, because they considered the presence of many people inside it suspicious.

The driver did not comply with their instructions and accelerated, with the police following the car in front from a sufficient safety distance, constantly calling the driver to stop the vehicle using a beacon and sound signals.

Then, after the immobilization of the vehicle at an adjacent point, during the check it was found that the driver was carrying seven foreigners of the same nationality Nepali nationalsfour men and three women, who were taken to the headquarters of the Directorate of Aliens of Attica and the Immigration Management Department was investigated.

After an investigation by the police, the safe house of the ring was located in the center of Athens, which was the final destination of the traffickers where they were hiding 11 more irregular migrants (seven women and four men), Nepali and Tibetan nationals.
