On the menu of gastronomic events this first week of October are another edition of Coffee Week and a fair dedicated to sake in the capital of São Paulo, among other highlights. Find out below.
Bar & Brasa
The Grand Hyatt hotel is holding the second edition of the barbecue-focused event, which offers open food and an open bar. The meat stations include cuts such as picanha, chorizo and Uruguayan options – such as the red diaper and the ancho. The drinks selection includes beers from Baden Baden and Eisenbahn, drinks and mocktails.

Coffee Week
The event brings together cafés, bakeries and restaurants that offer special coffee recipes or combos at fixed prices (from R$14.90 to R$24.90). Among the participants, the artisanal bakery Feito em Casa Pães, in Vila Gomes Cardim, offers filtered coffee, cheese bread and cornmeal bread with guava paste for R$ 14.90. For R$ 24.90, the Gallette chocolate shop, in Santana, prepares an espresso with Arabica beans from Minas Gerais and a slice of chocolate cake.

Quincho
Voted the best vegetarian restaurant in the city by O Melhor de São Paulo Gastronomia, the address now opens without interruption to the public, from 12pm to 11pm, from Tuesday to Saturday. Furthermore, chef Mari Sciotti reformulated the entire menu, which features new features such as basmati rice in curry sauce with cassava and marinated tofu (R$72). The desserts, which were designed by pastry chef Brenda Freitas, from Maní, are also worth highlighting. One of his creations combines roasted fig with lavender oil, strawberry coulis, mascarpone cream and lavender and almond (R$36).

Sake Fair
The fair dedicated to sake has a second edition, this Friday (4) and Saturday (5). Visitors can taste around 50 varieties of Japan’s ancient drink and participate in lectures, which have themes such as omakassê and pairing. To eat, restaurants such as Sozai Deli, Otoshi and Ichigo Itiê sell typical food.
