Deputy Minister Evangelos Tournas requested the update of the “DARDANOS” plan to deal with possible flooding phenomena
A meeting was held today by the Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection for the timely preparation of the state mechanism in the field of flood protection with the participation of district governors and district representatives. Mr. Kikilias he pointed out that vigilance is needed as the fire protection season is not yet over and high temperatures and heat are still prevailing. Regarding the preparation for winter, he called “very satisfactory the recording of the progress of the projects in the regions both in terms of execution and in terms of the development of the studies and procedures.
