Restaurant Week offers a full menu for from R$54.90 at 180 addresses in SP

Restaurants spread across all regions of the capital of São Paulo come together during Restaurant Week to offer menus with starters, main courses and desserts at discounted prices. In total, there are 165 participating addresses, plus 15 in Greater São Paulo — in places such as Guarulhos and São Bernardo do Campo.

The event, held twice a year, is in its 33rd edition. It officially starts for the public on the 24th and lasts for a month, but customers who have the Pluxee card (formerly Sodexo) received exclusive days, from this Thursday (17th) until Wednesday (23rd) — it is necessary to make payment with the brand.

The combos have fixed prices, divided into four categories: traditional (R$ 54.90 for lunch and R$ 69.90 for dinner), plus (R$ 68.90 and R$ 89.90), premium (R$ 89 and R$109) and diamond (R$109 and R$149).

The restaurants prepare special, themed menus. Following the theme of this edition, the houses explore regional culinary diversity in new creations or reinterpretations of dishes, using regional inputs.

The authorial Ecully (r. Cotoxó, 493, Pompeia), for example, serves a dinner for R$89.90 that features recipes such as moqueca dumplings with sweet pepper pickles, crispy chicken with goat cheese polenta and arugula and baked apple ice cream with crumble and lemon.

Serving Spanish cuisine, Torero Valese (av. Horácio Lafer, 638, Itaim Bibi) offers for dinner (R$ 149) creations such as spicy chorizo ​​with tomato, brie cheese au gratin and crispy eggplant, and paella with pink shrimp, squid, seafood and fresh fish platter.

Traditional in Tatuapé, La Pergoletta (r. Itapura, 1,478) prepares parma bruschetta, buffalo cheese and pesto, mushroom and mushroom risotto with prawns and pistachio cream cannoli, among other dishes. It costs R$68.90 for lunch and R$89.90 for dinner.

Run by Rodrigo Einsfeld, who participated in MasterChef Profissionais, Handz (r. Saguairu, 595, Casa Verde) offers suggestions such as termite croqueta with aïoli and red onion pickles, crispy fish with potato salad and tartar sauce and wet cake coconut in the plus category (from R$68.80 to R$89.90).
