Until Sunday, the dangerous weather phenomena brought by the bad weather “Filippos” will persist, according to the updated emergency bulletin issued by EMY.

The bad weather will continue until Sunday with its main characteristics, the very low temperatures for the season throughout the country, the locally strong frost in northern Greece and the occasional and occasional heavy snowfall in the eastern mainland and the Aegean.

Tomorrow, Saturday, heavy snowfalls are expected in places in the morning in Magnesia, Sporades and Evia and from the pre-noon hours in Halkidiki. forecasts as follows:

The bad weather that has the main characteristics of the very low for
season temperatures across the country, the locally strong frost in

Snowfall in more detail:

1. Today Friday (11-03-2022) will continue in the east
continents and the Aegean and specifically, in eastern Thessaly,
the Sporades, eastern Sterea, Evia, eastern and
northern Attica, the eastern Peloponnese, the islands of northern and
eastern Aegean, the Cyclades and Crete, but will be small
generally intense and transient.

2. Tomorrow Saturday (12-03-2022) heavy snowfall in places
expected:
a. In Magnesia, the Sporades and Evia from early in the morning.
b. In Halkidiki from the noon hours until the afternoon.
c. From noon on the eastern Mainland (including
Attica), the central and eastern Peloponnese and the mountains –
semi-mountains of Crete, while it will snow in the islands of the north and
eastern Aegean, the Cyclades and the plains of northern Crete.

3. On Sunday (13-03-2022) the snowfall in most
areas from early in the morning will weaken and from noon will
stop and only in Crete will continue until Monday
(14-03-2022), but not with great intensities.
