“Battle” to save the life of the female dog who was stabbed in the neck in Kypseli, veterinarians are giving to DIKEPAZ.

The unfortunate animal named Hera, a victim of the illness of the 47-year-old who was arrested, is hospitalized in an extremely critical condition, having been transferred to the facility, at noon, by ambulance from a private clinic.

According to information, the 47-year-old is its owner and is facing serious psychological problems.

“All our veterinarians have fallen on him, trying to save the animal, but unfortunately there is not much hope”, it is stated in a characteristic post which points out that apart from the deep and extensive wound in the neck from the knife of the attacker (something already treated surgically), the health of the old and amputated dog is burdened also due to cancer from which she suffers.

“We will do everything in our power to save him, as happened with Hector”, said in any case the president of PESYDAP Grigoris Gourdomichalis, who then speaking to SKAI 100.3, confirmed the criticality of his health condition animal, summarizing that we are talking about an attack of unprecedented violence.

It is worth noting that Mr. Gourdomichalis referred, among other things, to the fact that this year alone they have provided treatment to approximately 4,500 cases of seriously injured-abused animals and after 23 years the state funding of 150,000 euros was stopped.

According to information, if the dog’s condition permits tomorrow morning, a request has been made to transfer it to a modern animal hospital for intensive care.

At the moment, it is considered particularly dangerous to transport it.

The 47-year-old who was arrested this morning by emergency police officers, for the heinous act, is being investigated for possible involvement in an additional 7 cases of killing of four-legged animals that have been recorded in the wider area and a case file was filed against him for violation of the law on animals and weapons .

In particular, after investigating a complaint regarding an injury to a quadruped (dog) with a sharp object, the police officers, after targeted searches, located the 47-year-old and took him to the Kypseli Police Station, where he was identified as the perpetrator of the specific criminal act.

The injured animal was found in a bin and taken alive to a Veterinary Clinic for further medical care and treatment, while a knife was confiscated.
