The world’s best cuisine for 2024/2025 was chosen by the famous Taste Atlas gastronomy guide as Greek – with a rating of 4.6 out of 5 – leaving Italian in second place, with 4.59.
Greek cuisine tops this year’s annual list, with the highest scores given by website readers from: Netherlands: 4.7, Germany: 4.5, United States of America: 4.4, Spain: 4.3 , Poland: 4.3, Switzerland: 4.2, Italy: 4.2, Portugal: 4.2, France: 4.1, Canada: 4.0, Turkey: 3.7.

It is interesting that in the category “most popular Greek drink” in first place is the frappe (coffee synonymous with the Greek patent). Ouza is second and tsipouro in 4th place.
The most popular Greek product was fetaKalamata olives in 2nd place and caseri in third place. In general, all the familiar Greek cheeses – gravies, kefalogravies, myzithra and manouri – figure high on the list, as do Greek yogurt and Kalamata olive oil.
However, readers also voted for other products, such as the Aegina pistachio (in 12th place) and the trachana (in 22nd place).
