The Police proceeded to investigate the case of the homicide of a 41-year-old man, whose body was found in the morning hours of Sunday, December 8, 2024. on the external staircase of the ISAP station in Agios Eleftheriosin Athens.

According to ELAS, from the investigation of the sub-directorate for Prosecution of Crimes Against Life and Property, of the Directorate for Combating Organized Crime, the alleged perpetrator is a 35-year-old man, who was identified and brought to court yesterday afternoon, while subsequently a relevant warrant was issued against him, pursuant to which and was arrested.

In order to clarify the case, fingerprints were used to verify the identity of the victim, which, at the initial stage of the investigations, were unknown, while the 35-year-old’s involvement in the homicide emerged from the appropriate evaluation and utilization of pre-investigative evidence.

As noted by ELAS, as part of the investigations, the backpack, clothes and shoes worn by the accused during the commission of the homicide were found and confiscated.

The arrested person was taken to the competent prosecutor’s office.
