Arrivals of international passengers without PLF from today

It enters into force today, Tuesday 15 March the abolition of the PLF for passengers on international flights, according to the already issued covid-19 notam of the Civil Aviation Authority.

In particular, with the implementation of the aviation directive, all passengers arriving in our country from any destination abroad they do not need to fill in the electronic PLF form before arrival in Greece.

It is noted that until yesterday, all travelers to Greece, regardless of nationality, filled in the electronic form PLF (Passenger Locator Form), at the electronic address https://travel.gov.gr at any time before the departure of the flight to Greece. The proof of completion of the electronic PLF form, which was automatically sent by e-mail to the passenger by the system, was considered a necessary travel document.

Travelers with European Digital Certificate COVID-19 without arrival test

The entry of travelers holding certificates (are nationals) from the Member States of the European Union (EU) and the Schengen Agreement, as well as from the thirty-five non-EU countries that have joined the EU COVID-19 digital certificate system ( European Union Digital Covid Certificate (EUDCC), ie the following: San Marino, Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Vatican, Northern Macedonia, Georgia, Switzerland, El Salvador, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Iceland, Israel, Israel Morocco, Montenegro, Moldova, Monaco, Norway, New Zealand, Ukraine, Uruguay, Panama, Cape Verde, Serbia, Singapore, Thailand, Togo, Turkey, Tunisia, Benin, Jordan, Faroe Islands, Faroe Islands, Faroe Islands COVID-19 Certificate, which contains information about one of the following:

a) Vaccination certificate valid for up to nine months after the completion of the basic vaccination and without time limit for travelers who have received the booster dose.

b) Certificate of illness lasting up to one hundred and eighty days.

c) Certificate of negative result, with the PCR method within the last seventy-two hours or alternatively to have been diagnosed negative in a rapid test within twenty-four hours before their arrival in Greece.

No need for a negative test from both the US, Australia and Canada: Travelers from Australia, the United States of America (USA) and Canada are allowed to enter by showing alternatively one of the following documents:

a) Vaccination certificate valid for up to nine months after the completion of the basic vaccination and without time limit for travelers who have received the booster dose.

b) Certificate of illness lasting up to one hundred and eighty days.

c) Certificate of negative result, with the PCR method within the last seventy-two hours or alternatively to have been diagnosed negative in a rapid test within twenty-four hours before their arrival in Greece.

With negative test entry into Greece regardless of vaccination for all other travelers: All other travelers to Greece, except EU countries and Schengen Agreement, travelers from Australia, the United States of America (USA), Canada and the 35 non-EU countries that have acceded to the EU COVID-19 digital certification system, including their spouses or cohabiting persons, They must have been diagnosed negative by a PCR test within the last seventy-two hours or, alternatively, must have been diagnosed negative by a rapid test within twenty-four hours before their arrival in Greece.
