Detailed Mass Transportation Routes – What changes are there in the routes
With modifications to the routes, as happens on such a day every year, the means of public transport will run on New Year’s Day.
Specifically:
ISAP
On ISAP Line 1 (Piraeus – Kifissia), services will run every 10.5 minutes on New Year’s Day. On 02 January, trains will run through the stations every 7.5 minutes until 22:30 and every 11.5 – 12.5 minutes until the end of the timetable.
On Friday January 03, ISAP trains will run every 6 minutes between 07:00 – 10:00, as well as between 15:00 – 18:00. Before 07:00, between 10:00 – 15:00 and between 18:00 – 22:30 the frequency will be every 7.5 minutes. After 22:30, services will run every 11.5 – 12.5 minutes. On Monday, January 6, ISAP will operate as scheduled on Sundays.
Measure
In the Metro, the trains of Line 2 (Anthoupoli – Elliniko) will pass through the stations on New Year’s Day every 11 minutes, between 09:30 – 22:00. During the rest of the hours, trains will pass through the stations every 13 minutes.
On Thursday and Friday, services will run every 6.5 minutes between 07:00 – 11:00, every 7 minutes between 14:00 – 19:00, every 7.5 minutes between 06:00 – 07:00 and 19:00 – 21:00, every 8.5 minutes between 11:00 – 14:00 and every 9.5 minutes on other hours. On Monday, January 6, Line 2 will operate with Sunday hours.
On Metro Line 3 (Municipal Theater – Airport), services will run on New Year’s Day every 10 minutes between 08:00 – 22:00 and every 11.5 minutes at other times.
On 02 and 03 January, services will run every 5.5 minutes between 07:00 – 11:00, every 6.5 minutes between 15:00 – 19:00 and every 7 – 8 minutes between 06:00 – 07:00, 11:00 – 15:00 and 19:00 – 22:00. After 22:00 trains will pass through the stops every 8.5 – 9.5 minutes. For the Lights, Metro Line 3 will operate with a Sunday schedule.
Airport routes will run daily every 36 minutes, while every Friday night, routes will run every 15 minutes, after midnight.
Tram
Finally, the frequency of Tram routes will be every 15 minutes on New Year’s Day. Thursday 2 and Friday 3 January: Every 12′ until 22:00, every 15′ after 22:00.
Monday January 6: Sunday timetables.
