Two more people remain at large, who have been identified and are allegedly involved in the case of the murder during a fight in Serres
The two arrested for the murder of a young man, during a fight in Serres on New Year’s morning, were remanded in custody.
They are a 27-year-old Greek woman and a 29-year-old Albanian man, who appeared before the regular investigator today, at the Courts of Serres, where they arrived accompanied by a strong police force.
According to information, during their apology, the two arrested men insisted that they are innocent and that they have nothing to do with the murder of the 34-year-old man himself in a central pedestrian street of the city. They admitted, however, that they were at the scene of the fight.
Two other people, who have been identified and are allegedly involved in the case of the murder, remain elusive, both citizens.
It is recalled that the 34-year-old – father of two children who was soon expecting the third, as his wife is pregnant – suffered a wound from a sharp object and his death was confirmed at the General Hospital of Serres, where he was transported by ambulance of the EKAB.
