The possibility of electronic submission of the application for maternity allowance through the KEP is provided by a joint decision of the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Kostis Hatzidakis and the Deputy Minister of Digital Government, Theodoros Libaniou.
It is reminded that, until recently, the possibility for electronic submission of maternity allowance was provided only through the corresponding electronic service, which is available on the website of e-EFKA.
According to a joint announcement of the Ministry of Labor & Social Affairs and Digital Governance, the regulation concerns maternity and maternity benefits, for which those interested will now be able to process the application process, through the KEP, live or by video conference. (myKEPlive).
The decision determines the steps to be followed by the employees of KEP and the details of the insured who will register in the electronic service of e-EFKA, depending on the insurance category (employees, self-employed, freelancers) and the type of allowance.
The decision enters into force one month after its publication.
