After five years of being closed, Desmanche is back. But it’s not the same anymore. The nightclub that was a success on Rua Augusta is now reopened in Pinheiros, with a bar and karaoke — in addition to the parties, of course.
The reopening is also not yet 100%, but the space has already been welcoming the nostalgic public since last week. In this first stage, a dance floor for 150 people, a bar and an open karaoke stage were inaugurated. To sing, you buy tokens. Entry is free.

Expected to open by the middle of the year, a track will be opened at the back of the property, like hell, and another on the second floor, as well as an area with a balcony. The final capacity will be similar to the original, of 600 people.
Desmanche was founded ten years ago, with programming that encompassed Brazilian music, electronic music, hip hop and other styles. It also gave rise to a popular Carnival group. The person behind the brand is Ronaldo Rinaldi, known as DJ Click, responsible for creating other clubs and bars in the São Paulo night scene.
The pandemic forced the space to close its doors. Click had plans to reopen it in a new format, in 2023. The idea was to go to Barra Funda, which became a spot for cool bars, but the project with other partners did not work out.
In the meantime, he opened Curtiça, in Vila Madalena, and Motelzinho, in Bexiga, which combines bar, karaoke and parties.
Keeping an eye on where the buzz was, he chose the region close to Largo da Batata as his address. “In addition to the bars, a nightlife phase began, with many bars and clubs staying open until later,” says Click. For now, the house is open until 5am.
The decoration brought old elements, such as pieces of a Kombi scattered around the room, and colorful neon lights. The musical footprint remains the same. Click is DJing there this Friday (17th) and Saturday (18th).
The bar serves classic and signature drinks, with prices from R$22 to R$38. The food menu will soon be launched with bar snacks, served in a space with tables, chairs and sofas.
“We did a Dismanche for young people, and the audience grew older along with it. People who used to be 20 years old, are now 30, and want a place to sit”, says Click. “I’ve also gotten older, I no longer go to places where there’s nowhere to sit, I’m past that phase.”
