The Ranger of Ford Pro celebrates a decade of hegemony in Europe having completed 10 consecutive years as the most sales model in its class.

The Ford Ranger garnered almost half of the total sales in Europe’s pick-up-to-year-olds, recording a 43.6%share. This performance corresponds to an increase of 1.3 percentage points compared to last year. In some cases, the model’s market share reached 54.2%, with an increase of up to 18.6 percentage points. Overall, Ford Pro classified 60,400 new Ford Ranger in Europe in 2024, increasing 4% compared to 2023.

Ford Pro brings the revolution into the category of pick-up vehicles this year by introducing another exciting version of the model for customers across Europe: the brand new Ranger PHEV. This incompatible electric model offers all the capabilities of a Ranger in terms of towing 2, payload 3 and off -road performance, as well as 43 km of electric autonomy 4 and torque of up to 697 Nm 5 – most of any other production ranger .

The new Ford Ranger PHEV also introduces Pro Power Onboard 6 in the model range, which enables customers to power up to 6.9 kW with power tools or sporty equipment directly from the built -in battery without the need for generator.

The production of the new Ford Ranger Phev is in full swing in Silverton, South Africa. The first deliveries to customers are scheduled for the spring of this year.

In 2024, the Ford Ranger has earned more than half of total pick-up model sales in four European markets. Specifically in Ireland (54.2%), Germany (record 53.9%), Great Britain (52.4%) and Belgium (50.1%).

In several European markets there was also a significant increase in the model’s share on a yearly basis. More specifically, in Poland, Spain, Norway, Great Britain and Italy the increase amounted to 18.6, 9.3, 6.1, 5.3 and 3.4 percentage points, respectively.

The first deliveries in Europe of the new Ford Ranger began in 2023 after a period of extensive development during which Ford Pro worked with customers from around the world to create a pick-up that will reliably cover professional needs, the family obligations and excursions of its owners in nature.
