The Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew is a highest honor to recognize the Greek government’s decision to permanently resolve the critical problem of the clergy of the Greek community. I thanked him warmly, committed to the Greek government, for the support of, in every way, of the Presbyterian Patriarchates and Ecumenical Hellenism.
Together with Secretary General Religions George Kalantzis, we had the opportunity to discuss in Istanbul in detail with the Ecumenical Patriarch the full plan for the new organic positions of clergymen approved by the Council of Ministers on January 31, 2025.
We also met the Education Coordinator and the Directors of the Schools of the Greek Minority of Constantinople and discussed all the issues that concern them and the solutions we are on. “
