Another three hostages are expected to be released today, Saturday by Hamas.

This is the 46-year-old Iair Horn, 36-year-old American-Israeli Sagui Dekel Chen, and 29-year-old Russian-Israeli Alexandre (SASA) Troufanov, who will be released after 498 days of captivity.

All three men were captured in the same kibbutz that was hit hard on October 7, in Hamas’ attack.

Israel, for its part, is expected to release 369 Palestinian prisoners in return.

It is recalled that the three hostages are released after fears that the ceasefire agreement could lead to a collapse. Specifically, Hamas had threatened to delay liberation, accusing Israel of violating the terms of the truce.

In response, Israel, with the support of US President Donald Trump, had threatened to resume the attacks if the hostages were not released. However, after intense efforts by Egyptian and Qatar mediators to maintain the truce agreement on the way, Hamas said on Thursday that she would proceed with the scheduled release of hostages this weekend.
