The son of the distinguished lawyer, Christos Kougias, said that he and his sister are experiencing great pressure on the journalistic coverage of the event.
“You face ugly 2 children who may walk without their father“Alexis Kougia’s son and daughter say, posting on social networks, while calling for respect for these difficult times during which he fights for his life.
Specifically, the son of the distinguished lawyer, Christos Kougias, said that he and his sister Maira are experiencing a great deal of pressure on the journalistic coverage of the event, as they invite them inappropriate times for statements without feeling that there is respect for their pain.
“We declare for the last time that it will not be allowed by our family and our father’s law firms to turn his last moments into a reality. We no longer ask for but we demand that you leave the hospital as well as to show the discretion and respect we need to our family and our father’s associates“, Christos Kougias points out.
In his post, his son Alexis Kougia writes: “On Monday morning 24.02.25 the deterioration of our father’s health leaked to the media. From that moment on, we have publicly asked for all discretion, privacy and respect. We thought that even in these difficult times for us, journalists would respect both our own and our father’s desire. For many years our father has been fighting with his health, he never gave anyone the right to deal with the subject. It was a battle that he wanted to give on his own. From the time they leaked bad news, journalists from all the channels and from all the broadcasts did not stop calling on the phone either us or our father’s law firm partners”
