The competent Judicial Council accepted the dismissal statement submitted by the Prosecutor of the Headquarters

On April 2, Filistor Destbasidis and Maria Marangeli, formerly protected witnesses in the Novartis case, will eventually be tried by the One -Member Court, with the codes names “Maximos Sarafis” and “Catherine Kelesi”.
The competent Judicial Council accepted the dismissal statement by the Prosecutor of the headquarters, as he was aware of a lawyer in the case, and appointed another prosecutor, who proposed to the court to accept the postponement applied by Maria Marangelis’ defense.
“And I have reason to declare abstinence, I will propose that the postponement request is accepted and to give a brief trial. The unique date available is for April 2 ‘ said the prosecutor.
The former protected witness, Filistor Destbasidis, was present in the dock.
The two former protected witnesses sit in the dock accused of false deposition and false misrepresentation, after lifting the protection regime and activating the lawsuits they filed against politicians because they were involved in the bribery case of the Novartis pharmaceutical industry.
