At a time when the Greek countryside is struggling to keep young people near her, two brothers from Tegea Arcadia prove that innovation can bloom even in the most traditional fields. Angelos and George Kyriakoulis were recently on the list of the Greek version of the Forbes “30 Under 30”, among renowned scientists and innovative businessmen.

The idea was born in the midst of the pandemic when their studies were temporarily entered the ice. Instead of waiting, they returned to their place, determined to invest. “We wanted to get what our parents and grandparents gave us and develop it,” says Angel. Family agricultural production came into the digital age, with their e-shop sending fresh products within 24 hours to every corner of Greece.

With a production that includes apples, potatoes, cherries, sour cherries, vineyards and walnuts, the Sundays are not enough only in agriculture. They have already invested in manufacturing, with their new product the premium apple chips, finding a great deal of response to the market. What is their next step? The introduction of artificial intelligence into crops for even greater efficiency.

See what they said in the show “Where there is Greece”:

“It’s not just a start up. It’s a vision for a modern, extroverted and viable agricultural sector,” says George. With respect to tradition and a look at the future, the two brothers prove that the Earth is not only a place of origin, but also a place of creation.

Two brothers from Arcadia are inspired by their favorite grandfather and have a big vision: to become Greece an international destination for fishing tourism
Among the 30 most influential young entrepreneurs under 30 for 2025, according to the list of the Greek version of the Forbes, there are two brothers this year who decided to turn their childhood love for fishing into an ambitious vision: Constantine and Phaedra Lourdou

It all started with their memories of fishing with their grandfather, Dinos and traditional boats. Guided by those moments and their belief in sustainable tourism development, they created a business with the aim of filling Greece fishing, ready to offer authentic experiences to tourists from all over the world.

And they don’t stop there. As they revealed in the show “Where there is Greece” their next step is just as pioneering. They want to build the world’s first accessible boat for people with disabilities so that fishing tourism is open and hospitable for everyone.

“We want everyone, regardless of abilities, to be able to enjoy the joy and freedom of fishing at sea,” says Constantine.

Phaedra and Constantine prove that when passion meets innovation, then even a traditional fishing can become a wonderful success story!
