Fifteen years have passed since the tragedy at Marfin Bank, where three employees, including a pregnant woman, died in a fire, broke out in the building, after a Molotov arson, during incidents in downtown Athens, in demonstrations against the Memorandums.

“Fifteen years since Marfin’s crime, the murder of innocent fellow citizens hurts our collective consciousness. Unfortunately, it states the obstacles encountered by the battle of the state with the scourge of terrorism. But it keeps the memory and the decision of the Republic to defeat its dark undermining alive, “Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Facebook.

“Friday Zulia, pregnant Angeliki Papathanasopoulou and Epaminondas Tsakalis are always here, demanding justification. As here are the lessons of yesterday, which must be turned into today’s power. Until divisive, hatred and blind violence are finally uprooted by society, “the prime minister underlined.

“Fifteen years after Marfin’s arson crime and the loss of 4 people,” he said in X. Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias.
