“The law does not provide for the process of setting up disciplinarys that will lead to deletions of students involved in illegal actions. Mr Hatzigeorgiou explained that students should be clarified and participating in disciplinary councils, stressing that he has already appealed to the State Legal Council.

He clarified that “as long as there are no disciplinary councils, no disciplinary council can be convened to impose punishment”.

Regarding the establishment of a university police, he spoke of a proper decision in her arrest, but pointed out that at some point it was decided that the people who were staffing the University Police would not be within the institution.

“My view is that there is a constant movement of the police within the institutions so that the police do not go to an event.”Mr Hatzigeorgiou said, noting that “the campus is a 900 -acre site of which 600 is overgrown”.

Regarding the episodes that occurred yesterday, he said that they are part of the pathogens of Greek society, but noted that they have been declining rapidly lately.

He noted that the canteen had an occupation of over 10 years, which was evacuated in December.
