A large operation of the “Hellenic FBI” (Organized Crime Management) for drug trafficking case involving cocaine -impregnated leather is underway early in the morning. Seven arrests have been made so far.
The case concerns the introduction of parcels of impregnated with cocaine, with special processing to export them, with the aim of further trafficking.
These are 30 pallets of cow’s skins from Latin America for the official purpose of clothing and/or footwear. Cocaine separation was done at the illegal plant with specific chemicals. Among the detainees (Greeks, Albanians and two Spaniards) the Spaniards played a central role in the introduction, separation and trafficking of drugs. A quantity of cocaine was also found.
Are sought other three people which also played an important role in the case.
The so -called Greek FBI stormed into Spata in the morning, where the skin was processed and the separation of drugs, with the aim of further trafficking. At the site are beyond the DOEO, the Department of Criminal Investigations, Fire Brigade and Chemists from the State General Chemistry.
