We analyze in depth the psychological profile of Irene Mourtzoukou, the woman who shocked the Panhellenic with her actions, in an exclusive discussion with psychologist and writer Thekla Petridou. In a simple and understandable reason, Ms Petridou explains by talking to what can be behind her behavior, how a child with worrying evidence reaches actions of extreme violence, and what role in the family environment and lack of timely intervention play.
Here’s the interview:
What man is in your opinion, Irene Mourtzoukou? I want you to analyze her psychological profile.
I have not studied the results of a psycho -diagnostic test if they have been done, so that I have a documented opinion on what Irene Mourtzoukou is. Based on its public action, unfortunately the whole of Greece has watched it on its screens, and on the basis of what I have noticed in the way it behaves and what it says I have to say:
He is clearly a person who has malignancy. He is not a benign man. It is not inspired by kindness, kindness and love for fellow man. In many circumstances, she made public threats and expressedly expressed very badly about her fellow human beings, and especially mothers whose children killed. This is clearly malignancy. Malignancy is not a mental illness or disorder. It is a moral man. Psychology as a science not only studies mental disorders, but also the characteristics of a person’s personality.
Based on the model of 5 factors, the most probable model of personality classification, Irene Mourtzoukou has the following elements:
- Agreeableness-disagreabbleness. Clearly at the end of anti -anti -malignancy (malignancy).
- Extraversion-intraversion. Irene Mourtzoukou shows great extroversion. Seeks to promote and report. Seeks to be the center of attention and the lights to be on it
- Neuroticism. Irene Mourtzoukou clearly shows no trace of guilt for her abusive acts, not even the ones she publicly does. Public bodies outbursts in television broadcasts and then no remorse. Removals and guilt, as well as the kindness, show neuroticism with a positive sign. It does not seem to have any one. Anger, anger and outbursts also show neuroticism with a negative sign. This kind of neuroticism has many times.
- Conscientiousness. Irene Mourtzoukou does not display a trace of conscience and disposition of responsibility.
- Openness to Experience. This fifth factor measures whether a person is open to new experiences. If he takes risks, if he has tolerance to the uncertain and if he is available to investigate the unknown. Irene Mourtzoukou shows a high tendency of modernity. She is extremely willing to explore new environments, natural or television, and her life’s history seems to like the changes and pursue them.
Based on the analysis of the behavior of Irene Mourtzoukou under the point of view of the personality model of the 5 factors, it is identified with what researchers find about psychopathism.
In Irene Mourtzoukou I also observe elements of malignant narcissism, macaevelism and sadism. Along with psychopathy, they all complement the profile of the dark quadrant, the profile that the conspiracy killers and rapists converge.
In the case of Irene Mourtzoukou, the sadistic element seems to be linked to a psychosexual perversion to the point where he seems to be stimulated in a television interview when he speaks of dead infants, at the point where he shows an impulsive desire to see the photo of a dead infant and a dead infant.
How is it explained that a mother can get to the point of killing her child?
Is not explained. There is no explanation for why a criminal chooses to crime. Malignancy and crime are human choices. He chooses a man to walk with virtue and humanity. He chooses to walk with evil and mascot. There is the case of postpartum psychosis, where a mother in an acute psychotic phase can harm her child and then feel remorse, guilt, unhappy, and even suicide after her infant’s murder.
In this case, Irene Mourtzoukou confessed that she first killed her sister, after another infant and after her two children. So we’re not talking exclusively about a mother who kills her children. We are talking about an extremely malicious person, a perverse personality who is experiencing sadistic satisfaction of killing infants.
In her confession, she said that “the demons were overwhelmed” when she was arguing with her mother she wanted to do harm. “At such a time,” she confessed, killed her sister. How do you interpret this?
As an attempt to transcend her own responsibility to demons. It has never been previously mentioned in demonization, though it spent tens of hours on television shows where it was lurking.
Irene seems to have had a strong conflict with her mother. How does this affect a child’s psychology?
Under no circumstances can the mother’s intense conflict lead to a child’s criminal behavior. Millions of children around the world have a strong conflict with their mothers, but they do not evolve into blood-psychopaths. Conflict with the mother can cause mental injuries. Mental traumas are by no means a reason or justification for committing crime, not even for abusive behavior.
How would you interpret the behavior that the mother of peace had all this time?
Her mother is often presented on television screens. Her behavior is not maternal. Under no circumstances. It does not indicate affection, empathy and protection to her daughter Peace, not even the emotion of any kind for her daughter murdered by Irene. As a person, she also seems to have elements of narcissism, absence of empathy, refusal to take responsibility, frosty indifference to the dramatic events that took place in her own life and life of her daughter. It seems like a person trying to cover his own traces, “to save her tomato”. She is clearly not responsible for her daughter’s crimes. But she is responsible for any concealment and the fact that she was blackmailed by other persons (eg ex -husband or peace), so as not to protect the lives of other innocent children after the murder of her own daughter or even before, when she said there were worrying behaviors …
It seems that from a young age it may have had behavioral problems. How early can it seem that a child has some psychological disorder?
The diagnosis of anti-provocative behavioral disorder is given to children under 9-10 years. From about 6 years early about 6 years, serious behavioral problems may be revealed. And parents must definitely take their children to a pediatric psychiatrist.
He had directed abduction when he was a child. Is this a sign of something deeper?
Abduction directing indicates manipulation, cunning, and extreme attention. I do not know if it really has directed this, or if it is a category against her that has not been proven, but her parents certainly have to seek a pediatric psychiatrist assistance from the first signs of strange, offensive and extreme handling behavior.
What role can her relationship with her mother and father play in shaping her psychology?
Irene Mourtzoukou is extremely manipulative and engages in lies with tremendous ease. What she says about her relationship with her parents are not reliable. And her parents, too, as long as I have heard her father speak and as long as I have seen her mother, do not seem to be reliable persons, that is, people who speak honestly and honesty about the past. Handling and invocation of emotion is a common feature of all three. Daughter and parents.
We have seen her constantly participate in television shows. How do you interpret this?
Peace wants self -promotion, publicity and celebrity. Of course it would be more than willing to play television shows. Also, the economic benefits of these entries, even providing roofing and food to hotels, could have been an additional incentive.
How easily can one hide his feelings from those around him, even by experts?
Not easily. For me, the feelings of peace and their absence were clearly from her first interview I attended. I have the impression of as many broadcasts as I could watch, because I will not hide that I felt extremely toxic to both her, and her mother and the whole scene, so I have the impression that the purpose of the presence of peace in the broadcasts was not to “determine” or “to”. It was for a well -established show.
Why do you think how he confessed in such a short time?
Because she was first asked with the rigor that suits the occasion for her role. Peace is clearly a person with low intelligence, exhibits cunning rather than intelligence, I do not imply that she has mental retardation, but that her intelligence is not high, so that she can hide from a serious interrogation.
