Who was Dimitris Constantaras
Dimitris Constantaras was born on October 9, 1946 in Athens. He studied English and Greek Philology at the University of Athens School of Philosophy, and had graduated from Wilson High School in Pennsylvania, USA. His professional career began in journalism, where he worked as an author, columnist and editor -in -chief in leading newspapers, remaining an active columnist until the end of his life.
At the same time, he was actively involved in politics. In 2002 he was elected Prefecture of Attica, and in 2004 a member with the New Democracy. Later, he served as a municipal councilor in the Municipality of Athens, and participated in the OPANDA Cultural Organization. In 2015 he returned to the ND, re -nominating parliament.
His contribution to the field of letters was also important, as he was a writer and director in the series “World Classical Literature” by Smyrniotakis, editing 24 books. He was a member of ESIEA, PSAT, AIPS and the Hellenic Society of Theatrical Writers.
