Three fires occurred at the same time at dawn on the campus, in Rio, according to a statement from the University of Patras.

According to the University’s announcement, “the fires occurred near the Department of Geology around the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics and the campus massif.”

“Thanks to the immediate mobilization of the guard and the University Security and Protection Unit, as well as the immediate intervention of the Fire Service,” as stated in the University’s announcement, “the outbreaks were identified and exhausted in a timely manner, without any damage.”

Also in the same announcement the following are noted:
