After two years of inability to exhibit with physical presence, the Association of Small Wineries of Greece welcomes again professionals from every fieldhis lovers of wine and anyone interested to try new ones wine products and to see up close the passion and passion of small producers from all over the Greek region. So, the exhibitors-members of the SMOE family are willing to show and talk about the wines they produce with emphasis on the raw material, believing without discounts in quality and wanting with passion to show that the identity of a wine is inextricably linked with the area, the land and the personality of the people who live near it.
“The market and the wine lovers embraced our two previous events with love and made us feel that the effort and the effort are rewarded in material and intangible ways. For our exhibitions we have chosen the motto “separate wines from different people”, meaning by the definition “special” the way we cultivate, in addition to our vineyards, and a special family wine culture that we want to communicate to our visitors ” , emphasize in its announcement the SMOE.
The Exhibition is framed by two parallel events as follows:
The classic tasting master class which will be held on Sunday, April 3, 16.00-18.00 with the title “Rare and less rare Greek varieties, rightly or wrongly?” and presenter Pavlos Gegas, who will describe the organoleptic characteristics and viticultural features of selected wines, and then will try to explore the position they are likely to gain in modern wine making.
(The ticket costs 20 euros with the necessary condition of pre-registration in the Exhibition).
And an innovative proposal for this year with a panel discussion to be held on Monday, April 4, 13.00-15.00 entitled Focus: the next day and where to “focus” and in which the:

The discussion will provide the framework for the “existence” and operation of the restaurant in the post-pandemic era that can have a successful course accompanied by “Greek wine”, taking advantage of the opportunities of locality, seasonality and better consumer information and dealing with challenges of critical changes due to health measures, cost increases, changing staff profiles, shortages of raw materials and stocks, difficulties in the supply chain.
(It is addressed only to professionals in the field without ticket cost but a prerequisite is the pre-registration in the Exhibition).
