Kostas Bakoyannis speaks for the abandonment of the hill of Streff and for the needs that go beyond the management of the canteen of the canteen, after briefing on this issue, by the Mayor of Athens Haris Doukas, to the current city council. The former mayor and head of the Athens “High” faction referred to the “need for meaningful interventions”, he said that “this issue has now been judged in the Athenian consciousness” and asked questions to the Municipal Authority, stressing, among other things:

“I would like to ask where we are right now with the famous Plan B, which you said you would bring to the City Council? The playground and the court were projects, which were launched by the previous term. The question is what will happen to the other needs of the hill, which are far exceeded its extrovert management.

When will the Municipal Authority finally inform the Athenians and the Athenians about whether it finally has a comprehensive plan and how this plan is going on? When will the hill safety needed works? When will it be rebuilt? How will it be? With what study and with what budget?

The following questions are also raised about the management of the canteen: How does the Municipal Authority mean social actors, who calls for the extrovert management? What criteria will the municipality make the decision, but also with what legal basis?

Finally, Mr Bakoyannis’ faction described the information as “empty content, but full of communication fireworks”.
