Police are now the father and son accused of bloody clashes in Kapariana, Mesara, as they surrendered to the Phaistos Police Department yesterday, after the autopsy had first expired, according to Neakriti.
The two defendants allegedly wounded with two young men, on the occasion of chronic real estate differences. In what they described to the police officers, they claimed that they were first targeted and reacted to an attack.
The episode occurred on the afternoon of Thursday, September 25, when the two young men were found in a field outside the village, seriously injured. One brought bumps to the chest, while the second brought multiple knives to his hands and bleeding strongly.
The immediate mobilization of EKAB and the Police proved to be saving. The injured were initially transferred to the Morra Health Center and then to PAGNI, where doctors fought to stabilize their condition.
According to reports, the two young men seem to have been the ones who went to the meeting point to ask for explanations, resulting in the verbal confrontation to develop into a bloody fight.
The two detainees are to be brought before the Justice, while the preliminary investigation is continuing to clarify all aspects of the case.
