OR Regenerative agriculture It makes a dynamic entry into the correctional stores of Greece, enhancing knowledge, sustainability and social reintegration. The Social Farming 360 ° Program utilizes Earth as a tool for education, social integration and development, seeking to strengthen individuals and communities through sustainable agriculture.
The program is implemented in six structures, including Agia Chania, Tyrinthha Argolida, Kassavetia Volos, Kassandra, Halkidiki, Eleona Thebes (Women’s Rural Department) and the Center for Drug Administration. There, participants are trained in sustainable cultivation practices, the care of soil fertility and the promotion of biodiversity. The actions are aimed at both prisoners and agronomists, enhancing the skills of both sides. The training includes three -hour seminars for each team in each booking store.
Participants gain knowledge about agonists, which mimic nature and supports the viability of ecosystems. At the same time, they are taught the principles of regenerative agriculture, with emphasis on soil health, biodiversity and the restoration of natural balance.
The basic principles of regenerative agriculture are reflected in seven pillars: soil health, biodiversity, water management, livestock farming, ecosystem services, socio -economic prosperity and continuous learning.
The program, from January 2024 to December 2025, has so far recorded more than 870 prisoners and agronomists, 598 hours of training in agricultural and professional skills and more than 600 professional certifications through the ACTA.
The Social Farming 360 ° is implemented by the Agency of Nea Georgia, a new generation, with the support of the Citi Foundation and in collaboration with the Ministry of Citizen Protection General Secretariat, ActionAid Hellas and the Freedom Portal.
