Another serious one incident of violence between minors noted in High School of Voloswhen a 12-year-old threatened me folding knife a classmate to give him money.

According to gegonota.news, the incident took place in the courtyard of the school, early in the morning, when students and teachers were preparing to leave for an excursion. The 12-year-old, as it became known, took out of his pocket a folding knife with a 5 cm long blade and threatened to stab his classmate if he did not give him the money he had taken from his parents for his daily snack.

The student who received the threat informed the school principal, who in turn informed the Police Authorities who immediately intervened and took the 12-year-old before the Volos District Prosecutor’s Office.

According to information, the minor claims that he did it for fun, while the knife, as reported by the same sources, he had procured together with his friends.

It is also noted that the minor is of foreign origin and has been in the country with his mother for some time.

The 12-year-old was prosecuted for attempted robbery, which is a felony, as well as for using a weapon and possessing a weapon. The minor was brought before the Investigator, from where he was given a deadline to apologize.
