A new tragedy has rocked Rhodes since dawn, as an 18-year-old native of the island, who lives with his family in a city in Brazil, was shot dead by robbers while they were working in a restaurant.
The event shocks the island of Rhodes and his father’s birthplace, the village of Psinthos, as the family had moved a few years ago to Brazil, where they lived and worked.
It is about Theodoros Kattavenos of Ioannis, only 18 years old, who today shortly after 2:30 in the morning Greek time, fell dead from the bullets of ruthless robbers, who entered the restaurant where the young man worked on the weekends, in order to rob it.
The news of the death of the young man from Rhodes plunges once again into mourning apart from his relatives and our island, as it was a well-known and socially active family, which unfortunately experiences such an unspeakable tragedy.
The post that his father Giannis made on his personal account on social media is also heartbreaking, describing the tragic event:
“Inexplicable pain! Losing you so young! Unbelievable! I love you son!”
No other details have been made known regarding the murder of the 18-year-old Rodite in Brazil, nor if the ruthless perpetrators have been arrested, who killed an 18-year-old boy in cold blood, while they were working, just to get a little money.
