THE increase in the minimum wage announced by the Prime Minister will be “Brave but realistic” stressed o Deputy Minister of Social Security Panos Tsakloglou in the within the 7th Delphi Economic Forum.

Regarding the studies that accompanied the law on supplementary insurance and whether they have become unreal after the pandemic and the war in Ukraine, Panos Tsakloglou clarified that “These are all short-term fluctuations up and down … Macroeconomic conservative estimates have been made because we wanted to be absolutely sure. “We care what happens financially because we are a country with a large debt.”

Finally, he announced in advance that in 2022 there will be legislative intervention for occupational insurance, as the existing one is quite old.
