Agios Andreas Camps: Ready for children – Where and how to apply

After two years of suspension due to the pandemic, the Children’s Countryside of the Municipality of Athens in Saint Andreas they reopen their doors safely for all the children of the city.

This summer, young and old campers of the city, will again have the opportunity to make new friends, gain unforgettable life experiences and find many creative activities in a modern, upgraded and safe environment!

The municipal authority, taking advantage of the time during which the camps remained closed due to the health crisis, proceeded to upgrade work barrage services, indoor and outdoor areas and their infrastructure.

The accommodation facilities have been modernized to meet all the needs of the campers and to meet all the quality and safety requirements, while the equipment that serves the guests has been completely renewed.

New, modern air conditioners were placed in the accommodation areas, while special care was given to them chambers to welcome the campers, who were even reinforced with new equipment.

Still, the camps acquired a beautiful Playgroundwhich was created with the most modern safety standards and is suitable and completely accessible to children with mobility difficulties.

In addition, the technical services built canopies in the poolsproceeded to the complete electromechanical upgrade of the facilities, while in the coming days they will install modern and safe outdoor sports and entertainment equipment.

End, the Aris Stathakis Traffic Education Park, located in the area of ​​Children’s Playgrounds, has been upgraded and is now ready to welcome young campers in order to teach them the secrets of road safety.

After the completion of the program for children, the children’s camps remain open in order to accommodate people of elderly. At the same time, they are an important social structure of the Municipality of Athens, with a strong social sign, which from time to time and depending on the social needs that arise, is used to host vulnerable social groups and victims, such as refugees, fire victims, etc.

Digitally and remotely the applications for registration in the camps

For the convenience of those interested, the services of the Municipality of Athens developed a new and easy-to-use applicationwhich allows small and large campers to register remotely, using the link https://camps.cityofathens.gr. They can also come to register in the Municipal Community of their residence by making an appointment through the well-known application https://rantevou.cityofathens.gr .

THE registration period has already started for children aged 6-15 and for associations for the disabled, while our older citizens can register from May 16, 2022 to participate in the program for the elderly.

CHILDREN PERIODS:

-First Period:

Children 6-12 years: Arrival: Monday 27/06/2022, Departure: Monday 11/07/2022.

-BD Period:

Children 6-12 years: Arrival: Thursday 14/07/2022, Departure: Thursday 28/07/2022.

-CG Period:

Children 13-15 years old: Arrival Sunday 31/07/2022, Departure: Sunday 14/08/2022.

The Registrations of the children for the AD, BD & C Periods will take place from Monday 11/04/2022 until Friday 20/05/2022.

PERIOD OF ASSOCIATIONS FOR THE DISABLED:

Arrival: Wednesday 17/08/2022, Departure: Wednesday 31/08/2022.

Associations for the disabled will be registered at the offices of the Department of Children’s Outdoors (in Athens -70 Epirus 70 & Liosia 5th floor- or in Agios Andreas, Attica).

THIRD AGE PERIOD:

Arrival: Friday 02/09/2022, Departure: Monday 19/09/2022.

The registrations of the Elderly People will be made from Monday 16/05/2022 until Friday 17/06/2022.

Extension to the above registration dates will be given only after a relevant decision of the Municipality of Athens, which will be announced at https://camps.cityofathens.gr and in the seven (7) Municipal Communities.
