Upon the return of the students from the Easter holidays on May 3rd the countdown to the end of the school year begins slowly.
For the first time, the weighting factors of the examined courses for admission to Higher Education were set by the HEIs themselves, a fact that may lead to differences in the calculation of points. They will also make their “debut” diagnostic tests or otherwise “Greek PISA».
The last day of courses for Day and Evening General and Vocational High Schools is the May 20thfor the Gymnasiums on the 30th of May and for the Kindergartens and the Primary Schools on the 15th of June.
The exams in the High School will be held from June 1-15 and in the High School from May 23 to June 15.
On Wednesday, May 18, 2022 begins the “Greek PISA»In the cognitive subjects of Modern Greek Language and Mathematics for 6,000 students of the 6th grade of Primary schools and 6,000 of the 3rd grade of Gymnasiums.

Regarding National examsfor their students GEL are scheduled for June 3-10while for its graduates EPAL on June 2-17.
The Special Courses will be examined on June 18-30.
This year the coefficients of weight per course examined nationwide were determined by a decision of the Senate of the relevant HEI for each School, Department or Introductory Direction of the Department. Given the fact that course weighting rates, as set by the Institutions, in some cases differ between Faculties, Departments or Introductory Directions of the same subject, may arise variations in the calculation of molecules of candidates.
