May Day: The exit of excursionists is evolving without any problems – Increased traffic in the ports

by

The problems evolve without exit of excursionists for the three days of May Day, despite the forecasts of meteorologists for a slight drop in temperature and in places local rains.

Passenger traffic is increased in the ports of Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio, due to the departure of passengers as May Day holiday transferred this year on Monday 02/05.

The port body has taken all the necessary measures to facilitate passengers and vehicles, while those who are going to travel should be earlier at the departure port of the ship due to increased traffic on the perimeter roads.

From the port of Piraeus, 13 sailing ships have been scheduled for today, Saturday (04/30), 16 for the islands of the Saronic Gulf, 10 from the port of Rafina and 8 from Lavrio.

Yesterday Friday (29/04) in the port of Piraeus the traffic was increased, while 16 ships departed and 11,103 passengers, 1,786 cars, 790 trucks and 382 two-wheelers left.

For the Argosaronikos islands, 27 ships departed on the same day, while 4,866 passengers, 580 cars, 35 trucks and 189 two-wheelers departed.

9 ships sailed from the port of Rafina while 3,175 passengers, 776 vehicles, 94 trucks and 89 two-wheelers departed. 9 ships sailed from the port of Lavrio while 1,483 passengers, 434 cars, 50 trucks and 36 two-wheelers departed.

It is noted that tomorrow On May 1, the ships will remain moored throughout the country, due to the 24-hour strike declared by the Panhellenic Maritime Federation to celebrate Labor Day.
