His presence President of New Democracy and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis presented, in the context of the work of the 14th Ordinary Conference, the Digital Transformation program of New Democracy. The presentation was made by the vice-president of ONNED Costas Mamoulis, while the member of the Political Committee Elpidoforos Papanikolopoulos spoke about the philosophy of the project.
The goal is for New Democracy to become an even more modern party, which will be constantly and practically next to its members and every citizen. In this way, participation and digital democracy are strengthened, making New Democracy a model European party. Thus, the program of digital transformation includes projects that will be included in three pillars:
-Upgrading the experience of members
-Digital operating processes
-The evolution of the operating model
The application will be presented in the coming months for MyND mobiles, the party’s WebTVas well as the digital academy and the creation of a research system in order to strengthen the Government work.
It is recalled that in recent years New Democracy has proceeded with emblematic interventions for its modernization, which will be the backbone of the program for its complete digital transformation. Among them was the creation of an electronic register of members, the change of software systems, the transition of technological infrastructures to the cloud, the human resources management system. At the same time, the last two conferences had strong digital data, the internal party elections were held hybridly and the prosvasis.nd.gr platform was implemented, which is accessible for people with special needs.
In order for its operation to be fully in line with the most modern legal standards, at the beginning of the work of the second day of the conference, New Democracy updated its statutes, now being the first party in Greece to operate with a digital future.
