The Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met this morning, at the Maximos Palace, with the Minister of Industry and High Technology of the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmad Sultan Al Jaber, who is again in Athens as head of business mission, which includes the largest investment funds and important companies of his country.

“We are very happy to have you again in Athens, after one very successful visit to Abu Dhabi. You know how much emphasis we place on this bilateral cooperation that has both a strategic and an economic component. “I understand that you have already had and will have very interesting discussions to further strengthen our economic cooperation,” said the Prime Minister.
“Our president always puts a lot of emphasis on the special relationship he has with your great country and with you personally. “He has great admiration and respect for your leadership, for your government and for your achievements in recent years,” said the UAE Minister of Industry and High Technology, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmad Sultan Al Jaber.
During the meeting, the multilevel strategic cooperation between the two countries was confirmed and the prospects for further strengthening of bilateral economic-investment relations in various sectors, such as energy with emphasis on RES and hydrogen, industry and high technology, innovation, start-ups, infrastructure were discussed. , aviation, shipping and tourism.
